My Christmas Mini Sessions are back for 2026, with a mix of beautiful outdoor locations and festive studio setups to choose from.
Whether you’re dreaming of golden beach photos, warm forest light, a relaxed grassy field or something a little more Christmassy in the studio, there’s an option for every family.
These short and relaxed sessions are perfect for updating your family photos, creating beautiful Christmas gifts for grandparents, getting that Christmas card photo, or simply capturing your little ones exactly as they are right now.

One of my favourite locations for family photos.
Tall trees, beautiful filtered light and warm earthy tones make the forestry absolutely gorgeous at this time of year. It has just enough of that Christmas tree feeling without being overly themed.
Perfect for families wanting something natural, warm and timeless.
Beerburrum Forestry
For a very Queensland Christmas.
Think sandy toes, cuddles, kids running along the beach and beautiful golden sunset light.
These sessions are relaxed and natural and are perfect for families who want beautiful updated photos they can display all year, while still having them ready in time for Christmas.
Bribie Island Beach
Golden grass, beautiful afternoon light and a relaxed outdoor feel.
These sessions are perfect if you want updated family photos that don’t necessarily scream “Christmas”, so you can enjoy them on your walls all year round.
Located close to Burpengary East, this is also a beautiful and convenient option for local North Brisbane families.
North Harbour Field
White Christmas

for those wanting something a little more festive, my Burpengary East home studio will have three different setups to choose from.
Yes — dogs are welcome as long as they are friendly and kept on leash.
No. The Beach, Forestry and North Harbour sessions are designed as beautiful, timeless family photos rather than heavily Christmas themed images.
This means you can use them for Christmas cards and gifts, while still having photographs you’ll love displaying in your home all year round.
If you’d prefer something more festive, choose one of the Burpengary East Studio Christmas setups.
You can choose from three beautiful outdoor locations:
• Bribie Island Beach
• Glasshouse Mountains / Beerburrum Forestry
• North Harbour Field (Burpengary East)
Or the studio is located in North Harbour in Burpengary East.
Each location offers a slightly different look, so you can choose the setting that suits your style.
Keep it simple and coordinate rather than matching everyone exactly.
For the outdoor sessions, whites, creams, earthy tones, denim and soft pastels photograph beautifully.
For the studio sessions, consider which backdrop you’ve chosen when planning your outfits. Once you’re booked, I’ll send through some tips to help you plan.

I’ll keep an eye on the forecast in the lead up to your session. If conditions aren’t suitable, outdoor sessions will be moved indoors or to the next available date.

Christmas Minis are designed for one immediate family due to the short session time.
If you’d love to include grandparents or another family, please get in touch before booking, or book two consecutive sessions to allow enough time to capture everyone without feeling rushed.
Absolutely. Your gallery will include 20+ edited images for you to view and choose your included favourites from.
If you fall in love with more than your included images, additional images and full gallery upgrades will be available.
